As a QA Software Engineer, you’ll be part of the core team building Dawnguard’s platform. Your focus will be on designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across front-end and back-end systems to ensure our platform meets both functional and non-functional requirements.

The Role
As a QA Software Engineer, you’ll be part of the core team building Dawnguard’s platform. Your focus will be on designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across front-end and back-end systems to ensure our platform meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
You’ll collaborate with founding engineers, product designers, and security experts to:
- Build integration tests for front-end and back-end components using modern testing frameworks.
- Execute functional and non-functional tests, including stress testing and chaos engineering.
- Generate detailed test reports for the CTO and leadership team.
- Support developers in writing and maintaining unit tests.
- Design and implement a full-stack testing program across the platform.
- Report on system testability and test outcomes.
- Collaborate with the Head of Product Design to ensure systems meet user expectations.
- Validate performance, scalability, and security across services.
- Contribute to front-end development tasks when needed.
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering or software engineering, ideally within cloud or cybersecurity domains.
- Proficiency in test development using frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, etc.
- Solid understanding of front-end technologies (TypeScript, Angular).
- Bonus: Experience with Storybook for component testing and documentation.
