Job Title: Scrum Master (Banking/ Financial Services)

Location: UK (Hybrid – 1-day London, 2 days Bromley; more focus on Bromley)

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in banking or financial services, working closely with technology delivery teams. The Scrum Master will play a key role in enabling Agile delivery, improving team performance, and ensuring best-practice Agile/Scrum frameworks are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more technology squads within a banking/financial services environment
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
• Remove impediments and manage dependencies to ensure smooth delivery
• Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and wider technology stakeholders
• Track and report delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down, risks, dependencies)
• Promote continuous improvement and a strong Agile culture
• Support regulatory-driven and enterprise-scale delivery environments

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–10 years’ experience as a Scrum Master
• Proven experience in banking or financial services (mandatory)
• Strong experience working with technology/ engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe preferred)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in large, complex, regulated organizations
