About the role

StormGeo is looking for an experienced Network Engineer. You will be responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity across StormGeo’s data centers, offices, cloud platforms, and remote users. The role focuses on supporting modern platforms and services while continuously improving network resilience, performance, and security.

You will work closely with internal teams to reduce operational risk, troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, and contribute to the ongoing development of a stable and future-proof network environment that supports StormGeo’s global operations.

📍 This position is based in Vilnius, Lithuania, or Bergen, Oslo, Norway.

Main responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate enterprise network architectures across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Manage and maintain routing, firewalls, load balancers, and remote access solutions.
• Support hybrid and multi-cloud networking environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Handle network-related incidents, problems, and changes, ensuring stability and availability.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, technical documentation, and networking standards.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with enterprise networking and network security.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, certificates, and network segmentation.
• Experience with hybrid and cloud networking environments.
• Operational mindset with proven incident response and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet technologies.
• Exposure to SDN or cloud-native networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes networking.
• Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, NSE4, PCNSA, and higher).
