About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior API & Microservices Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure microservices using C# and .NET within AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience integrating AI solutions, implementing DevSecOps best practices, and working effectively in collaborative team settings to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using C# and .NET Core/.NET 5/6+
• Implement cloud-native microservices leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and CloudWatch
• Incorporate AI and machine learning models into microservices architectures, leveraging services like SageMaker, Rekognition, or custom AI models
• Practice and promote DevSecOps principles, integrating security seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployment
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative, scalable features
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments using AWS ECS, EKS, and CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline and Jenkins
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize microservices performance in cloud environments
• Maintain security standards, including OAuth2, JWT, and AWS IAM policies
• Document architecture, API specifications, deployment processes, and security policies

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience developing and deploying microservices architectures with C# and .NET Core/5/6+
• Proven expertise designing and implementing APIs following RESTful principles
• Strong familiarity with AWS cloud platform, including serverless, containerization, and security features
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into backend applications and microservices
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, including automated security testing, vulnerability assessments, and CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and messaging systems (SQS, SNS, Kafka)
• Understanding of security frameworks, OAuth2, JWT, and API management tools
