The Enterprise Architect position is a senior technology leader responsible for the end-to end architectural vision, design authority, and technical delivery success of the and transformation of our programs. This role will directly oversee all technology aspects of rebuilding the entire BBG proposition, including:
- A new mobile & web experience
- A fully microservices-based backend architecture
- Introduction of new core modules (Spaces, Pricing Engine, Configurator)
- redesigned Customer 360 platform
- Implementation of an Agentic Services Layer and modern Customer Service operations
- Enterprise-grade data products, real-time analytics, observability, and platform NFRs
- The role requires a proven transformation architect who has successfully led multi-year, enterprise-scale modernization across digital channels, API/microservices, core systems, cloud, DevSecOps, and data. The candidate should be able to operate across all layers of the stack, ensure NFR compliance, guide business teams, and drive technical delivery with engineering, business, and partner ecosystems.
- This role requires strong architecture governance to ensure that all capabilities or components developed and deployed are aligned with the Enterprise Stack and technology strategy. Similarly, any new components should address gaps in the existing technology landscape.
Responsibilities:
Technology Leadership & Architecture Ownership:
- Serve as the technical design authority for the entire Nawat proposition.
- Define and own the target architecture, reference models, integration patterns, and technology standards.
- Drive architectural decisions across mobile, web, microservices, data, core systems, and cloud.
- Evaluate and govern solution designs from internal teams and vendors.
End-to-End Delivery Accountability:
- Ensure project success from a technology perspective, covering design, build, test, performance, deployment, and post-go-live stability.
- Lead technical execution, risk mitigation, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
- Establish strong governance around architecture gates, code quality, NFR adherence, and platform readiness.
Full-Stack & Cross-Domain Expertise:
- Provide hands-on architectural guidance across the entire stack:
- Mobile apps (iOS/Android/Flutter/React Native)
- API gateway / microservices / event streaming
- Core banking modules (Spaces, pricing, configuration engines)
- Customer 360, CRM platforms, agentic services modules
- Cloud infrastructure, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines
- Data platforms, real-time analytics, observability tooling
- Lead NFR definition and implementation for security, performance, resilience, cost efficiency, DR/BCM, and maintainability.
Stakeholder Leadership & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Engage and influence diverse stakeholders across business, product, customer fulfillment, compliance, risk, operations, and technology.
- Translate business goals into actionable technology roadmaps.
- Manage vendor partners, ensuring delivery quality and adherence to architecture standards.
- Provide clear line of sight, technical options, and decision frameworks to senior leadership.
Domain & Proposition Understanding
- Deeply understand the end-to-end BBG proposition, journeys, and products.
- Guide business teams on feasibility, dependencies, architectural impacts, and prioritization.
- Ensure the solution delivers customer experience excellence, compliance, and operational readiness.
Data, Analytics & Observability
- Architect event-driven, real-time data capabilities supporting:
- Real-time analytics
- Customer insights
- Rules engines and pricing decisions
- Monitoring & observability (APM, logging, distributed tracing)
- Ensure operational dashboards provide full visibility into system performance, cost, and health.
Minimum requirements:
- 12–18+ years of experience in technology architecture, with at least 5–7 years in senior/lead architecture roles.
- Proven track record leading large-scale digital transformation, ideally in banking/financial services.
- Demonstrated experience modernizing:
- Digital channels (mobile/web)
- API/microservices platforms
- Core banking / core process engines (Finacle Coe stack preferable )
- Data & analytics ecosystems
- Customer 360, CRM, or agentic/AI-driven service modules
- Extensive experience managing NFRs including security, scalability, resilience, performance, observability, cost optimization, and BCM.
- Strong background in cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers, orchestration, and DevSecOps.
Technical Skills
- Architecture frameworks (TOGAF, BIAN preferred).
- Microservices & API-led architectures (REST, event-driven).
- Cloud-native platforms (Kubernetes, serverless, container orchestration).
- Data architecture: streaming, batch, real-time analytics, data mesh principles.
- Customer 360, CRM, integration middleware.
- Ability to dive deep into design reviews, code quality checks, and solution validation.
