JOB PURPOSE


Lead and manage the Authority’s infrastructure systems monitoring and cybersecurity oversight to ensure continuity, protection, and resilience of IT services. The role strengthens defense against increasing cyber threats, supports national cybersecurity agendas, and enables a secure, agile, and digitally enabled environment.


This strategic function protects the Authority from financial and operational impacts of cyberattacks, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and enhances the performance and resilience of IT infrastructure by implementing AI, multi-cloud, observability, and advanced security technologies.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the formulation of IT infrastructure monitoring strategy and roadmap, aligned with business continuity, security, and data center goals
  • Support national cybersecurity objectives by ensuring regulatory compliance, data protection, and a culture of security awareness
  • Oversee risk assessments, vulnerability prioritization, contingency planning, and mitigation strategies across IT assets
  • Manage departmental program portfolio and operate required security platforms, aligning with enterprise policies
  • Develop and execute storage and data management strategies tied to criticality, RPO/RTO requirements, and system resilience
  • Lead monitoring processes, incident/problem management, maintenance cycles, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supervise and coordinate security specialists, analysts and consultants; manage resources and workload allocation
  • Direct vendor management, RFPs, procurement, SLA performance, and KPI monitoring
  • Lead response and rapid handling of cyber threats, incidents, alerts, and escalation to reduce financial and operational losses
  • Oversee enterprise architecture standards related to monitoring and infrastructure security, and represent the department in enterprise architecture reviews
  • Plan and supervise security drills, readiness tests, and resilience reporting
  • Ensure cyber protections for on-prem, multi-cloud, hybrid hosting, and emerging platforms
  • Manage simulation-based capability testing to identify vulnerabilities and enhance cybersecurity maturity
  • Fully comply with information security policies, mandatory training, reporting rules, and governance requirements
  • Perform additional duties aligned with departmental needs


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Information Security, Electrical/Communications Engineering, or equivalent
  • 11+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure monitoring, cybersecurity operations, or infrastructure security leadership
  • Professional certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, ITIL, CRISC
