- Build and maintain fullstack features for internal payments and commerce tools used across Uber.
- Develop intuitive, performant user interfaces while partnering with backend systems and APIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver well-scoped projects from design through production.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Learn and grow within Uber's engineering ecosystem while contributing to team-level technical decisions.
- Experience building production-ready web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React.
- Hands-on experience developing backend services or APIs using one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, APIs, testing, and debugging.
- Experience working as a fullstack engineer, owning features across frontend and backend.
- Familiarity with internal tools, admin platforms, or enterprise-facing applications.
- Exposure to distributed systems, data-driven applications, or high-reliability domains (e.g., payments, finance, commerce).
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, and other engineers.
