Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Engineer with a robust background in DevOps methodologies and tools to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Linux environments and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly in CI/CD processes. This role demands a proactive problem solver capable of managing multiple projects and collaborating effectively with stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and associated DevOps tooling (including image signing, image scanning, Checkmarx).
  • Utilize Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) for project management and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain shared libraries and Pipeline as Code strategies.
  • Implement GitOps principles for streamlined operations and deployment processes.
  • Conduct scripting and automation using Groovy, and maintain logging stacks using ELK/Splunk.
  • Manage Helm charts and ArgoCD for Kubernetes deployments.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Engage in capacity planning and resource management to optimize performance.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven real-time experience with Linux and various DevOps tools including SonarQube, Nexus, and Nexus IQ.
  • Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and GitOps principles.
  • Proficiency in Groovy scripting and familiarity with logging solutions like ELK and Splunk.
  • Expertise in Helm charts and ArgoCD.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.
  • Experience in vendor management, capacity planning, and resource management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building business relationships.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technology engineering or DevOps role.
