Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager for a global events and networking platform in blockchain and emerging technologies, based in Hong Kong or Singapore. You will drive growth by building strategic partnerships, leading key projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and engaging directly with clients in the blockchain, AI, and fintech sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorships to drive growth
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and aligning them with offerings
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and execute events, including attendee acquisition, sponsorship packages, and promotional activities
  • Take ownership of projects from inception to execution, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, creative, operations, legal, and finance
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in blockchain, AI, and fintech


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or related roles within startups, fintech, blockchain, or venture capital
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Resilient, with a high sense of urgency and ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong understanding of and passion for blockchain/web3; knowledge of AI is a plus
