Embedded Software Engineer - Sensors Technologies- C/C++

We're partnered with a global semiconductor organisation with offices around the globe. They need a number of Embedded Software Engineers to join their Sensors Technologies team, working 100% onsite in the Silicon Valley of Europe - Cork, in Ireland.

This role offers hands-on exposure to cutting-edge sensor solutions used across smartphones, automotive, XR/AR, IoT, wearables, and consumer electronics.

You will work across the full product lifecycle, from early R&D through to commercial deployment, collaborating closely with systems, software, and integration and test engineers.

Key focus areas include:

• Embedded software development in C and modern C++
• Software architecture across CPU, MCU, and GPU platforms
• Algorithm implementation, optimisation, testing, and documentation
• Performance, power, and memory trade-off analysis
• Python or similar interpreted language development
• Collaboration with customers, sensor vendors, and cross-functional teams

This is a technology-focused role suited to engineers who enjoy solving complex problems at system level and working with advanced sensor platforms.
