We are looking for a senior Cybersecurity Risk professional with a strong focus on AI risk and Responsible AI security for a 6 months contract with high possibility of extension. Role is hybrid with 1 day a week on site in Downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity and technology risk assessments across infrastructure, cloud, applications, and AI-enabled systems
• Design and maintain security controls; support architecture reviews for new platforms and initiatives
• Assess and manage AI-specific risks (e.g., model security, data poisoning, adversarial attacks, prompt injection)
• Partner with Data Science and AI teams to embed security-by-design across the AI/ML lifecycle
• Evaluate third-party, SaaS, and cloud security posture, including AI service providers
• Support governance, regulatory compliance, audits, and enterprise risk reporting

Required Experience

• 7+ years in cybersecurity or technology risk, with leadership experience
• Strong understanding of cyber risk management, cloud security, and threat detection
• Experience with security tools (SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, IAM)
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and associated security risks
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in AI security or Responsible AI governance
• Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CCSP
• Financial services experience
