cFocus Software seeks a Cyber Security Analyst to join our program supporting the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is remote. This position requires the ability a Public Trust clearance.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity operations for enterprise systems.
- Experience with RMF, ATO sustainment, and continuous monitoring.
- Experience supporting vulnerability management and STIG compliance.
- Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD CAC and required background investigation
- Perform continuous monitoring of DSAID systems to identify security events, vulnerabilities, and anomalies.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and analysis using approved DoD tools (e.g., ACAS).
- Track, document, and support remediation of security findings and POA&Ms.
- Support RMF lifecycle activities and ATO sustainment.
- Review system changes for security impact and compliance.
- Support STIG implementation and compliance validation.
- Assist with cybersecurity incident response, investigation, and reporting.
- Support audit preparation and security control assessments.
- Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, and DoD cybersecurity policy.
- Collaborate with Cyber Security Engineers, Architects, Developers, and Cloud teams.
- Maintain cybersecurity documentation, reports, and metrics.
- Participate in Agile and DevSecOps activities supporting secure system delivery.
- Support transition-in and sustainment activities
