We are looking for a Network Engineer for a project based in Oporto (hybrid)!

Responsibilities:

Planning, implementation, and administration of network security solutions.
Configuration and management of firewalls, ensuring robust security policies.
Diagnosing and resolving network and security-related issues.
Continuous monitoring and mitigation of vulnerabilities and threats.
Participating in the definition of secure network architecture and design.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to align security strategies.
Updating systems according to best security practices and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field;
Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles.
Experience implementing and managing Checkpoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto firewalls.
Experience with network segmentation and VPNs (IPsec, SSL).
Experience managing IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems).
Experience with authentication policies (RADIUS, TACACS+).
Experience with security protocols (TLS, SSH, IPsec).
Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks: ISO 27001, NIST, and NIS 2.
Experience with Firewall Systems like Checkpoint, Fortinet and Palo Alto.
Experience with Load Balancing Solutions (e.g: F5 Networks, Citrix ADC...)
Experience with Network Management and Monitoring Tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix...
Experience with authentication and access management solutions like Cisco ISE, Active Directory, OKTA...
Experience with log management and SIEM tools like Splunk, ELK Stack...
Fluency in English.
