Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) vacancy for our Luxemburg based client in the Banking sector.
Your Tasks
- Work closely with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript software developers to develop and enhance testing frameworks for software applications.
- Collaborate closely with software developers to improve test coverage.
- Conduct functional, performance, security unit and integration testing.
- Ensure the highest level of product quality through rigorous testing.
- Report directly to the Software Development Lead.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.
- 4 years of professional experience in SDET, focusing on REST API and Web UI testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Good understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, and software development principles.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, and PyTest.
- Language skills: English fluent
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and collaboration with Software Developers, DevOps engineers and Business Analysts.
