Senior Fullstack Engineer

Our client is a Stockholm-based, early-stage startup transforming industrial operations with real-time, AI-driven decision-making.

Backed by top investors and led by experienced founders, they are solving one of the toughest challenges: turning vast, real-time data streams into actionable insights.

The role is for a hands-on senior/lead engineer to design and build scalable systems, shape architecture, and mentor a growing engineering team in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Stack

• Backend: Python, FastAPI
• Frontend: TypeScript, React
• Databases: MongoDB
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions

You Will

• Lead the architecture and development of backend systems, distributed platforms, and AI-enabled operational tools.
• Build software integrating machine data, production systems, and digital twins for real-time analysis and automation.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and software quality across the platform.
• Collaborate with industrial experts, product teams, and customers to turn complex challenges into solutions.
• Mentor engineers and help grow team capability and engineering standards.

What We Are Looking For

• Senior or staff-level experience in software engineering
• Expertise in backend system design, distributed architecture, and data-intensive applications.
• Exposure to AI, agent systems, or machine learning is a plus.
• Any experience with real-time data is advantageous.
• Startup mindset: hands-on, proactive, iterative, and fast-moving.
