Accountants Assistant

We are currently working with a well-established construction company based in West Dublin that is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their finance team. This is a permanent role offering a salary of up to €43,000, depending on experience. You will join a fast-paced finance team with great opportunities for growth.

Your new role
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with payroll and VAT returns, and supporting month-end reporting. You will also liaise with suppliers and internal departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered, you must have previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within the construction industry or a related sector, and be actively working towards a relevant accounting qualification (ACCA OR ATI). Strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and proficiency in accounting software (SAGE beneficial) and Excel are essential. The company is looking for someone who can work well both independently and as part of a team.
