Job Title:
Software Engineer
Location: Belgium (Hybrid: 4 days remote, 1 day onsite at HQ)
Engagement Status: Full-Time Freelance Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Biopharmaceutical client's Project team, which develops and maintains validated (GxP) software for clinical study design. This platform has been in place for 8 years and continues to evolve with 3–4 major releases annually. You will work in a dynamic team of 18 professionals (analysts, testers, technical writers, developers, PMs) and contribute to building high-quality solutions in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in daily stand-ups and regular planning/refinement sessions.
- Develop full-stack solutions using .NET Core (v6+), Angular (v6–14), TypeScript, and CSS.
- Collaborate with analysts to challenge and refine requirements.
- Use Azure DevOps for task and code management.
- Ensure compliance with validated (GxP) standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and problem-solving within the team.
Requirements:
Must-Have Skills:
- Full-stack development experience: .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, CSS.
- Experience in validated (GxP) environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Based in Belgium (1 day/week onsite).
Ideal Profile:
- Experience migrating Angular to newer versions.
- Background in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong problem-solving mindset (asks “why,” not just executes).
- DevOps/Azure knowledge or certification is a plus.
- Dutch or French language skills are a bonus but not required.
Working Model:
- Full-time engagement.
- Hybrid: 4 days remote, 1 day onsite (typically Monday).
