Product Manager

Your new company

A major financial services organisation is delivering key enhancements to a core digital product. You’ll join a collaborative Product & Technology team working to improve an end-to-end digital solution for the healthcare industry – providing convenient and secure payment and claiming capabilities for Australia’s healthcare payer schemes, providers and patients.

Your new role

As the Product Manager, you will lead discovery, solution design, and delivery across three major work streams. In this role, you will utilise deep customer, technical, industry, commercial, regulatory and domain subject matter expertise to develop and enhance the product onboarding and in-life experience, identifying moments that matter to create a journey that delights customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT‑ related product initiatives, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closure.
• Lead the selection, implementation and integration of new technology solutions to support product enhancements.
• Create detailed project and product plans, outlining deliverables, timelines, resource needs and budgets.
• Identify, analyse and manage risks across technology and product streams to ensure smooth execution and on‑time delivery.
• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to ensure solutions meet functional, technical and regulatory standards.
• Lead multidisciplinary IT and product teams, creating alignment across Product, Design, Engineering and Operations.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner delivering digital product changes end‑to‑end.
• Strong capability in discovery, solution design approval pathways, and translating insights into functional requirements.
• Experience working across onboarding journeys, reconciliation processes, communications, or admin/operations portals.
• Ability to operate autonomously, rapidly establish structure, and hit the ground running in a fast‑moving environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in navigating governance and approvals.
• Bonus: exposure to Payments, Healthcare, or other complex, high‑regulation industries.
