Elusav Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Senior planner with one of the most reputable and largest Engineering contractors in Europe.


The Senior planner will join a Data Center project, based in Finland and will be responsible for Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Planning softwares.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
  • Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
  • Reporting to Planning Department.
  • Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.
  • Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / com-missioning.
  • Developing and maintaining progress databases.
  • Progress reporting.
  • Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
  • Earned Value Management systems.
  • Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
  • Auditing progress on site.
  • Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
  • Preparation of tender schedules.
  • Preparation of histograms.
  • Leading planning meetings.
  • Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
  • Resource / cash loading of schedules.
  • Providing data for payment applications.
  • Completing contract review reports.
  • Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
  • Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
  • Recording delay and disruption.
  • Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
  • Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
  • Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
  • Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.


Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
  • Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
  • Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
  • Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
  • Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
  • Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
  • Clear communicator.
  • Ability to work well within strict deadlines.
