Project Manager (Electro-optical devices)
We are looking to hire a Project Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of product development initiatives from project kickoff through delivery and post-release follow-up. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities across cross-functional teams, ensuring timelines, scope, and dependencies are clearly defined and controlled. By proactively identifying risks, managing execution progress, and maintaining transparent communication, you will ensure alignment between business objectives, technical teams, and delivery commitments throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate execution of product development projects in collaboration with the Technical Lead
- Create, maintain, and track tasks, timelines, and dependencies in Jira
- Monitor task progress, statuses, and deadlines across cross-functional teams
- Identify delays, blockers, and schedule risks, and proactively escalate them
- Forecast milestone and phase completion dates based on execution status
- Prepare and maintain clear project status reports and execution visibility
- Ensure clear communication, alignment, and collaboration between all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support continuous improvement of project execution processes by identifying lessons learned and driving better planning and delivery practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, computer science, electronics engineering or related specialty is preferred.
- At least 2–5+ years of experience in project coordination, delivery management, or project control roles.
- Experience working in product development projects, preferably involving hardware, electronics, or complex technical systems
- Experience supporting projects with cross-functional teams (RnD, manufacturing, QA, supply chain)
- Experience identifying execution risks (delays, blockers) and escalating them appropriately
- Practical experience with Jira (task creation, workflows, dashboards, reporting) or similar planning tools
- Written and verbal Russian, English - Level B1+.
