Our client:
A financial-sector organization with a dedicated Information Security function responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of its security posture for all of its entities in Switzerland. To strengthen its team, the organization is seeking a technically skilled and curious individual to join as an Information Security Officer. This client is a major Swiss banking group structured as a cooperative network, consisting of over 200 locally independent member banks and serving several million customers across the country.
Position: (Senior) Information Security Officer (all genders)
Location: Zürich (hybrid)
Estimated Salary: 135.000 CHF - 170.000 CHF* base
Languages: German (C1+), French (B2+) is a bonus
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in strengthening the organization's security posture and protecting it from cyber-related risks, collaborating closely with IT specialists and business units.
- Develop and update the Security Awareness Program, including the design and delivery of training initiatives to improve security awareness across the organization.
- Expand and maintain the phishing platform and independently execute phishing simulation campaigns.
- Support the assessment of cyber risks and the identification and implementation of appropriate protective measures.
- Conduct on-site training sessions at various business units to reinforce secure behavior and promote a strong security culture.
Profile Requirements:
- The legal right to work and live in Switzerland.
- German fluency (C1+); French fluency 8B2+) is a bonus.
- University degree in computer science (Bachelor or Master) and/or comparable advanced training.
- CISSP or CISM certification.
- Several years of professional experience in an IT environment, preferably with a focus on security awareness.
- Significant experience in the financial services sector or at a bank or insurance company.
- Solid knowledge and expertise in operational and technical aspects of information security.
- Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, strong presentation skills, and curiosity for new topics.
