Role Overview

We’re looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. This role has a stronger focus on the back end, while still offering exposure to front-end development. You’ll work closely with more experienced engineers, contributing to the development and maintenance of our platform while learning best practices around scalability, performance, and clean architecture.

This is a great opportunity for someone with around 1 year of experience who wants to grow fast in a modern, international tech environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain clean, reliable code using TypeScript.
• Contribute to backend development, primarily using NestJS (training and support provided).
• Support frontend development with React and Next.js, building scalable user interfaces.
• Work with MySQL and/or PostgreSQL databases.
• Assist in developing and maintaining microservices-based systems.
• Help integrate and work with messaging systems like RabbitMQ.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features.
• Debug, investigate, and fix technical issues with guidance from the team.
• Learn and use AWS or other cloud services as part of day-to-day development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Around 1 year of experience in software development (internships or junior roles count).
• Basic understanding of TypeScript and backend development concepts.
• Familiarity with React and modern frontend fundamentals.
• Some exposure to NestJS, Next.js, or microservices (professional or personal projects).
• Basic knowledge of relational databases (MySQL and/or PostgreSQL).
• Interest in cloud technologies such as AWS.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and grow within a team.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of PHP or Python.
• Curiosity about AI tools for development and prototyping (e.g. Cursor, Replit, Devin AI, Bolt New).
• Experience with side projects, open-source contributions, or startups.
