Danske Bank’s Core Payments Platform tribe is looking for a new Product Owner to lead New Payment Rails clearing area. Which is accountable for maintaining and modernizing payment clearing services either in line to industry innovation timelines or internal modernization agenda.
As Product Owner for the New Payment Rails Instant squad in the Payments Platform Cluster you will lead a squad based in Lithuania and Denmark. You will plan and prioritise the deliveries, ensuring contributions to the strategy and vision of the tribe/domain – in close collaboration with other Product Owners within the Payments Platform Cluster and the tribe in general.
You will:
- Implement the strategy for New Payment Rails clearing area
- Manage the implementation of the roadmap by ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholders
- Maintain an overview of the progress on the roadmap, prioritise requirements and set the direction of the squad’s current and future assets
- Set sprint goals, plan sprint content, and manage the squad’s backlog
- Build domain knowledge and ensure effective knowledge-sharing with stakeholders
- 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, Senior Business Analyst or Service Owner – preferably within Financial Services
- Experience in delivering and maintaining technical services
- Experience in building roadmaps, maintaining short terms plans ensuring timely delivery
- Ability to collaborate efficiently with all types of stakeholders to develop a well-planned roadmap
- Servant leader with strong sense of ownership and a solution-oriented approach
- Ability to motivate and develop a cross-functional team
- Comfortable asking questions and challenging requirements
- ISO20022 standard, clearing schemes, cloud technologies knowledge considered as an advantage
- Upper-Intermediate skills in English

Monthly salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be Squad Leader (Product Owner). From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Technology Business Solutions under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
