Java Developer - Support experience

We are seeking a Java Application Support Engineer to support and enhance enterprise systems in a customer-facing environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage and resolve application issues; develop fixes in Java 8
  • Write and troubleshoot SQL Server queries
  • Investigate and resolve issues using AWS, including logs and CloudWatch alarms
  • Manage tickets and projects using Jira
  • Support customer clocking devices via a custom Java middleware component
  • Assist with builds, deployments (Jenkins), and SSO implementations (SAML/OIDC)
  • Collaborate with QA on defect resolution


Required Skills:

  • Strong Java (Java 8) and SQL Server experience
  • AWS troubleshooting experience
  • Production support and issue resolution background


Desirable:

  • JSF / PrimeFaces
  • Networking knowledge (CCNA or similar)
  • CI/CD and SSO experience
