Contract: 12 months
Location: Dublin - Hybrid working
Daily rate: €550 - 600 DOE

We're working with a large-scale enterprise technology environment supporting critical platforms across development, testing, and production. The organisation operates complex application and database ecosystems and places strong emphasis on automation, reliability, auditability, and release quality.

This DevOps Engineer contract role is highly hands-on and focused on CI/CD, platform automation, and release engineering. You'll design and build automated, repeatable processes that ensure reproducibility, traceability, and auditability across application and database migrations.

As a DevOps Engineer, you'll work closely with Development, QA, and Operations teams to automate build, release, and upgrade workflows across lower environments and production, while improving system availability and deployment reliability.

• Design and build CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows for application and database releases

• Automate release, deployment, and upgrade processes across test and production environments

• Troubleshoot build and deployment failures and drive issues through to resolution

• Create dashboards and monitoring views to improve platform availability and release confidence

• Evaluate and introduce new tools to continuously improve build, deployment, and automation processes
  
  

• Strong experience with CI/CD and platform automation, backed by a programming background

• Hands-on expertise with Git/Stash, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and UDeploy

• Solid experience supporting Linux-based environments across test, staging, and production

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and enterprise-scale applications

• Experience with containerisation and automation tools (Docker, Chef, Puppet, Vagrant - nice to have)

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
