About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and govern strategic initiatives within a Commercial Tooling environment. The primary focus of this role is a large-scale digital transformation program involving the migration of an internal CRM platform to a third-party solution, with Salesforce as the core technology.
In this role, you will partner closely with multiple teams across Commercial Operations and centralized functions. You will proactively facilitate collaboration between teams, business units, and external vendors to ensure projects are well-scoped, effectively planned, and successfully delivered. You will play a key role in defining project goals, KPIs, roadmaps, and deliverables, while ensuring alignment with broader business priorities and strategies.
You will also be responsible for establishing consistent project management practices, supporting governance and decision-making, mitigating risks and dependencies, and ensuring a smooth transition from project delivery into business-as-usual operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply structured project and change management methodologies to drive initiatives from initiation through delivery, ensuring consistency and quality of execution.
- Independently lead complex, cross-functional projects with global impact, guiding them through execution, analysis, recommendation, and implementation to achieve defined business outcomes.
- Drive project scoping and planning by documenting project goals, KPIs, roadmaps, and key deliverables, ensuring clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
- Engage, influence, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels to support enterprise strategy execution and functional initiatives.
- Communicate project status, insights, risks, and recommendations clearly and effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
- Track, monitor, and report on project progress, creating and maintaining clear and actionable planning documentation in collaboration with involved teams.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and dependencies to ensure progress against milestones and timelines.
- Ensure proper project closure, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and a structured handover to business-as-usual teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education.
Experience
- 5-8 years of relevant project management experience, preferably in complex, cross-functional environments.
- Proven experience with large-scale digital transformation initiatives; CRM or Salesforce-related projects are a strong advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence in one-on-one and small to medium group settings.
- Highly organized, with a natural inclination for strategic planning and tactical execution.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to perform effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and high-pressure environments.
- Capable of using both quantitative and qualitative data to drive informed decision-making with limited supervision.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to contribute to long-term vision and objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis.
- Solid business acumen with an understanding of organizational dynamics and challenges.
Certifications
- PMP, Agile Project Management, or equivalent certification is preferred.
