Job Title: Network Engineer – Intermediate (Canada)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Location: 100% Onsite – Markham, ON (5 days/week)
Job Summary
We are seeking an Intermediate Network Engineer to join our team in a hands-on, onsite role based in Markham, ON. This position is responsible for the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of enterprise network and hardware infrastructure across data center and WAN environments.
The ideal candidate is a technically strong, adaptable network professional who is comfortable working across both hardware and software networking components and thrives in an onsite operational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure
- Administer routing and switching across data center and campus networks
- Support and maintain data center architectures and related networking equipment
- Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN, WAN acceleration, and wireless networks
- Perform hardware administration, including deploying and integrating new network equipment
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and incident resolution for network-related issues
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure network stability, performance, and security
- Participate in maintenance activities, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives

Experience with the following vendors and technologies is strongly preferred:
- Switching & Data Center: Cisco, Arista, Aruba
- Wireless: Aruba Wireless
- SD-WAN: Silver Peak
- WAN Acceleration: Riverbed
Experience & Qualifications
- Intermediate-level experience in network engineering or network administration
- Strong hands-on experience with both network hardware and software administration
- Ability to adapt between operational support and implementation work
- Experience introducing and integrating new networking equipment into existing environments
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
