Human Resource (HR) Co-Ordinator – Part Time (24 hours per week)

In this role, you will work closely with the HR Manager and HR Executive, supporting colleagues across the hotel and golf club.

Objective of the Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Co-Ordinator will support team members with a strong focus on HR administration and staff accommodation. The role involves maintaining employee records, supporting HR processes, managing staff housing, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The HR Co-Ordinator will act as the first point of contact for employee queries and support compliance with employment legislation and company policies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the HR function.
  • Support all aspects of HR from recruitment and onboarding to exit interviews.
    • Assist with sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and completing reference checks.
    • Issue offers of employment and contracts.
  • Coordinate and deliver onsite inductions, ensuring all documentation is in place.
  • Prepare HR reports and presentations.
  • Maintain and coordinate uniforms and name badges.
  • Manage staff accommodation, including rooming lists, arrivals and departures, maintenance issues, and liaising with house owners and agents.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within HR and time & attendance systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing guidance and support.
  • Support compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Coordinate employee engagement, reward and recognition initiatives.
  • Provide assistance with rewards programmes.
  • Carry out ad hoc administrative duties, including issuing meeting minutes.
Requirements

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • CIPD qualification or studying towards same, with prior HR experience, is advantageous.
  • Strong administrative experience with proven organisational and planning skills.
  • Experience in the hotel or hospitality industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Fluent proven English, both spoken and written.
