Team Description

In Basis for Credit Decision we work towards providing our advisors with advanced tools to improve experience and efficiency while ensuring compliance. You will be part of a truly agile environment with a lot of flexibility. We value collaborative programming over solo programming. You will be joining a squad where pair and mob programming is encouraged and are a standard work habit

Your role

Your day-to-day work will be in a cross-functional Squad. In the Squad you’ll be working with creating a modern new system and integrating with the existing bank systems. You'll have a say in architectural considerations, as well as contributing to the system design, and, of course, development. As a Software Engineer in Basis for Credit Decision you will be working in all areas of our system. This covers backend, frontend and DevOps.

Beyond your Squad, you are a part of the Cloud Chapter where we regularly check in for aligning on best practices, tech discussions and knowledge sharing, and you are contributing with your own ideas and improvements.

You will:

• Build and maintain ReactJS frontends with .NET backends
• Perform code review and debugging
• Write tests and documentation
• Collaborate with other colleagues to ensure the best solution
• Continuously improve your skills
  
  

About you:

• Strong skills in ReactJS
• Experience with .NET would be considered as an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• General understanding about DevOps practises
• Knowledge of Openshift, Docker, and Kubernetes is an advantage
• Understanding of industry standard design principles, for example SOLID and Domain-Driven Design to implement microservices, REST APIs, etc.
• Familiarity with testing such as unit- and integration-testing
• Knowledge and experience with distributed software using cloud service providers (eg. AWS), Docker, and a container orchestration platform (Openshift, Kubernetes, etc.) would be considered a bonus
• Positive attitude with a strong motivation to continuously learn and adapt
• Upper-Intermediate English skills
  
  

We offer:

Monthly salary range from 4560 EUR to 6840 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

Your job function (position) in the job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Cloud specialist), Senior. From 1 April 2026 it will be renamed to Software Engineering under our new job architecture, with no impact on the role or responsibilities.
