IT Product Designer

We are looking for a IT Product Design with a focus on UI/UX for enterprise desktop applications for a project based in Porto (Hybrid work model - twice a week at the office).

The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to design intuitive and visually compelling interfaces for complex desktop applications. This role requires close collaboration with design leads, product managers, and engineers to create solutions that address our users' needs and enhance their overall experience.

Responsabilities:

• Utilize our design system within Figma to create UI mockups and interactive prototypes both independently and under the guidance of a design lead;

• Participate actively in design team meetings, offering feedback and ideas to help enhance the overall user experience;

• Collaborate with product managers to develop solutions that effectively address user problems;

• Work closely with product engineers to ensure the accurate implementation of design concepts;

• Conduct research to understand customer needs and goals, translating these insights into actionable design solutions;

• Engage in design thinking sessions with the design team and cross-functional partners to foster innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• A portfolio demonstrating experience in designing enterprise desktop applications (mandatory);

• Proficiency in using Figma, including expertise with auto-layout, creating responsive designs, and utilizing variant components to develop engaging UIs.

• Strong understanding and application of UX and visual design principles.

• Practical knowledge of current design patterns, trends, and methodologies.

• Experience conducting customer interviews and possessing fundamental information-gathering skills.

• Ability to present design work, collect feedback and make necessary adjustments based on input

• Fluent Engilsh (mandatory);

• The candidate must be living in Portugal (mandatory);
