We are looking for a talented software engineer to join our dynamic team working on the Giftpro product. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in software development and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative and scalable software solutions, ensuring top performance and reliability. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, participating in technical discussions, and delivering high-quality software while following best practices and industry standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Delivery

• Contribute to technical specifications, estimate tasks, and produce delivery timelines.
• Actively participate in sprints planning and execution (using JIRA), ensuring timely progress of tasks.
• Participate in regular project progress reviews.

Product Development

• Contribute towards the development of the core Giftpro platform.
• Integrate projects with various third parties.
• Maintain proper change control, versioning, and quality assurance for software delivery.

Documentation

• Deliver appropriate documentation for both processes and software.

General Technical Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners and colleagues to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
• Know, understand and comply to software engineering best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to technical strategy.

Required skills and experience:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
• Proficiency in PHP and experience with development using the Symfony framework.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with project management tools like JIRA for task scheduling and sprint management.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both software and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and services (e.g. EC2, S3, SQS, SNS).
• Solid understanding of relational database technologies (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

Desired skills and experience:

• Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture and design specifications.
• Experience in e-commerce development is highly desirable.
