Java Backend Developer

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Salary: Not a constraint for the right candidate!

Experience: 8-10 years.

Hybrid: 2 days Work from Home 3 days Work from Office

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer with expertise in Java17, Springboot & Microservices to join our dynamic team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver high quality scalable, secure enterprise grade applications using Java and related technologies.
• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java 17 and Spring Boot.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and microservices.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and optimize queries.
• Collaborate on CICD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps).
• Ensure performance, security, and code quality through testing and reviews.
• Manage Azure App Services, Functions, AKS, and Storage.
• Monitor, secure, and optimize cloud environments.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant 8+ years experience.
• Must have technical skills - Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Hibernate, JPA, Git, Maven, Gradle, Docker.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure).
• Knowledge of Kafka, Kubernetes, or React/Angular is a plus.
• Agile way of working exposure.
• Good understanding of microservices architecture.
• Java certified
• Good to have Azure 104204 certified
