Role Summary:
The Sr. Associate – Induction & Onboarding SPOC will be responsible for end-to-end coordination and execution of employee induction and onboarding activities. This role acts as a single point of contact for new joiners and internal stakeholders, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and compliant onboarding experience from pre-joining to post-induction support.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Onboarding & Induction Support
- Coordinate pre-joining activities including documentation collection, checklist tracking, and communication with new hires.
- Share joining instructions, induction schedules, and onboarding communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as the SPOC for new joiners, addressing queries related to joining formalities and induction.
Day 1 & Induction Execution
- Support and coordinate virtual and/or in-person induction sessions.
- Ensure attendance tracking, engagement, and smooth flow of induction programs.
- Liaise with HR, IT, Facilities, and business stakeholders to ensure readiness for Day 1.
Post-Induction & Onboarding Activities
- Track completion of onboarding milestones and mandatory trainings.
- Provide post-induction support to new joiners for any onboarding-related concerns.
- Ensure onboarding feedback is collected and documented.
BGV & Compliance Support
- Support Background Verification (BGV) processes by tracking status, follow-ups, and documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely BGV completion.
- Maintain accurate records and compliance-related data.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain onboarding trackers, dashboards, and reports using Excel.
- Ensure data accuracy and timely updates across onboarding systems and trackers.
- Share periodic onboarding reports with stakeholders.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in MS Excel (trackers, formulas, basic reporting).
- Energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and manage onboarding volumes effectively.
- Strong follow-up and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Prior experience in HR onboarding, induction, or coordination roles is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with BGV processes and HR operations preferred.
- Must agree to Work from Office.
