DevOps Engineer & Full Stack Developer

to join the Data Science team, reporting directly to the Head of AI & Analytics & working closely with the Data Engineering team & multiple business units. The professional will operate within a dynamic, highly collaborative & innovation-driven environment, contributing to the development of analytical solutions with concrete business impact

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement & manage application & cloud infrastructures across AWS & Azure environments
• Develop & maintain back-end components in Python (APIs, application services, batch jobs, asynchronous processes)
• Architect & manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment across development, testing, staging & production environments
• Configure & manage AWS batch jobs, schedulers & triggering mechanisms
• Containerize applications using Docker & manage deployments on K8S clusters using Helm
• Oversee application release processes from build to deployment in AWS
• Monitor applications & K8S pods, manage incident response & conduct troubleshooting activities
• Support the development & security hardening of the AI infrastructure & related services

Requirements

• 3-4 years of hands‑on experience in back-end development with Python (OOP, project structuring, unit testing, REST APIs using frameworks such as FastAPI)
• 3-4 years of experience in front-end application development
• Experience designing & implementing CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodeBuild, buildspec integrations with repositories)
• In-depth understanding of the AWS ecosystem (IAM, ECR, ECS/EKS, S3, Secrets Manager, CodeBuild & scheduling systems)
• Experience with Azure for account, resource & cloud infrastructure management
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL-like DBs & familiarity with migration/versioning tools (Alembic)
• Ability to autonomously handle the entire software development lifecycle (requirements analysis, architectural design, development, deployment, monitoring, production maintenance)

Location: hybrid in Verona – 2/5 days/week
