Tax Applications Development Expert(E-invoicing) - Qatar (Local Candidates Only)

We are seeking a highly experienced Tax Applications Development Expert to lead and govern the full lifecycle of tax‑related application systems, with a strong focus on e‑invoicing platforms and digital tax solutions. This role ensures that our tax application ecosystem is robust, compliant with regulatory requirements, aligns to industry standards, and performs reliably throughout its lifecycle—from specifications and design through post‑launch support.

You will partner with cross‑functional teams, stakeholders, and third‑party vendors to guide development practices, ensure quality, and uphold governance standards for mission‑critical tax technology solutions.

• Guide the end‑to‑end development lifecycle for tax application systems, including e‑invoicing solutions.
• Assess conformance to approved development methodologies, PMO, and IT service management standards.
• Recommend corrective actions to ensure systems meet quality, security, and regulatory standards.

• Analyze functional and technical specifications for tax applications.
• Provide expertise on e‑invoicing business rules, workflows, and system integrations.
• Advise on approval decisions to ensure technical accuracy and regulatory alignment.

• Lead governance for third‑party tax application products and vendor solutions.
• Oversee internal product governance activities and review outcomes against controls.
• Ensure all e‑invoicing applications comply with organizational architecture and governance standards.

• Monitor software quality assurance activities across all development phases.
• Assess release readiness for e‑invoicing capabilities, business enhancements, and regulatory updates.
• Review test cases, test plans, and validation results for comprehensive e‑invoicing scenario coverage.

• Coordinate maintenance and support post‑launch for all tax applications.
• Monitor service performance against SLAs and ensure high availability and stability of e‑invoicing systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• 16+ years of hands‑on experience in application development, lifecycle governance, and enterprise quality assurance.
• Strong expertise in software QA, standards compliance, and product governance practices.
