Project Manager

Our client, a global mining company, is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects across their operations.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to their strategic initiatives and make a tangible impact to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Drive project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, effectively communicate project progress, and manage expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential challenges.
• Team Leadership: Inspire and empower high-performing teams, fostering collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to optimize project methodologies and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven track record in delivering successful projects, preferably in a mining or resources context.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI).
• Flexibility to travel to site when required.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering results.
• A commitment to safety, health, environment, and community.
