Java Developer (Golang)

Role: Java Developer with Golang

Location- Burgess Hill, UK(Hybrid)

Employment type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Golang.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of applications.
• Integrate applications with databases, third-party systems, and messaging queues.
• Collaborate with product, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
• Follow secure coding standards and banking compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot / Microservices).
• Hands-on experience with Golang (services, APIs, concurrency).
• Good understanding of Banking / Financial domain concepts.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, HTTP protocols.
• Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with Kafka / RabbitMQ (preferred).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (good to have).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
