Full-Stack Developer

Our mission is to digitalise and connect the $4 trillion insurance industry in order to reduce the cost of insurance for customers and help them access better insurance services. 1000+ insurance brokers and 50+ underwriting companies log into Insly every day to design and launch their insurance products, manage business-critical operations and support writing over €1bn in premiums. We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer to develop innovative tools for the insurance industry. You will build great user experiences, write and maintain scalable code, and ensure code quality and performance.

What you'll do?

• Design and deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Write, maintain, and evolve clean, modular, and scalable code.
• Take ownership of code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Collaborate closely with architects, product owners, analysts, and fellow developers.
• Actively contribute to discussions to identify the most efficient and practical solutions.
• Support and mentor teammates, fostering a strong and collaborative engineering culture.

What you'll bring:

• Strong backend experience with PHP (Laravel) and frontend development using React.
• Proven experience working with PostgreSQL and Docker in production environments.
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining solutions on AWS.
• Solid understanding of designing, building, optimising, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills, with a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• A proactive, can-do mindset combined with strong critical thinking skills.
• Clear and confident verbal and written English communication.
