Role Overview
As a Project Manager, you will play a central role in delivering high-profile built environment projects across the UK. You will provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle - from inception to completion - ensuring clear communication, risks are managed, budgets are controlled, and outcomes exceed expectations. This role requires a hands-on approach, the confidence to lead design and delivery teams, and the ability to attend on-site progress meetings across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, coordination and delivery of assigned projects, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget

  • Manage project scope, work with design and delivery teams, and track milestones

  • Attend and facilitate site progress meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholders

  • Monitor project performance and proactively manage risks and issues

  • Produce and maintain key project documentation, including schedules, reporting, cost tracking and risk registers

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in project management, ideally within the built environment, construction or consulting sectors

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Strong organisational capability and ability to prioritise competing demands

  • Experience managing project delivery through design and construction phases

  • Comfortable with frequent travel to attend site progress meetings throughout the UK

Desirable

  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or PMP

  • Experience in consulting or client-facing project management roles

  • Familiarity with project management tools and software
