C++ Engineer (Computer Graphics)

I'm partnered with a client hiring for a C++ Engineer with a strong background in computer graphics to join our dynamic team in Leuven. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge software solutions and graphics applications, working closely with a team of engineers and designers to create visually stunning and high-performance graphics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize C++ applications focused on computer graphics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Develop and maintain graphics rendering pipelines, ensuring high performance and visual fidelity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to graphics rendering and performance.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in computer graphics and related technologies.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior team members to enhance team skills and knowledge.
• Write clear documentation and provide technical support to other team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in C++ programming, with a strong understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Solid experience with computer graphics programming, including knowledge of graphics APIs (e.g., OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan).
• Familiarity with shaders and rendering techniques.
• Experience with game engines or graphics frameworks (e.g., Unreal Engine, Unity, OpenSceneGraph) is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
