Network Engineer

Job title: Network Engineer (DDI) – Contract Role

Location: Warsaw (hybrid – occasional onsite required)

Contract Duration: 3-month rolling engagement

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong DDI expertise to support enterprise-scale network services. This role involves managing complex network initiatives, resolving critical service issues, and improving operational efficiency through automation and best-practice implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, conduct impact assessments, and resolve high-priority incidents affecting DDI services
• Lead root cause analysis activities following service recovery and drive preventive actions
• Design testing strategies, operational workflows, and reporting mechanisms, including automation of recurring tasks
• Review technical and business requirements, define infrastructure needs, and continuously improve DDI processes and documentation
• Work closely with network architecture, security, and operations teams to ensure scalable and resilient DDI service delivery
• Identify and manage operational risks while ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and ethical practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise network environments or DDI platforms
• Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (IPAM)
• Experience with DDI solutions such as Infoblox, BlueCat, or TCPWave is a plus
• Proven ability to work effectively with distributed teams and meet tight deadlines
• Comfortable operating independently with minimal supervision
• Background in financial services or large, complex global environments preferred
• Excellent communication skills with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
