Job Summary

Our Client in Dubai, is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of IT to lead and oversee our IT Development, Infrastructure, and IT Administration teams. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in blockchain technologies, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record of thriving in fast-paced environments. With a dual focus on providing IT consultancy to our clients and managing in-house development projects, we need a hands-on leader who can drive innovation, ensure operational excellence, and deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and oversee IT development, infrastructure, and administration teams.
• Build a collaborative, high-performance culture and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
• Be a hands-on leader, stepping in to support technical tasks and ensure smooth execution.

2. IT Development & Project Management

• Manage the execution of internal and client-facing IT development projects.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business and client objectives.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions within budget and deadlines.

3. Infrastructure & IT Administration

• Oversee IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize networks, systems, and hardware.
• Ensure efficient IT support services and quick resolution of technical issues.

4. Blockchain Expertise

• Apply blockchain technologies to internal and client IT projects where applicable.
• Evaluate emerging blockchain solutions to identify innovative opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership on blockchain-related strategies and implementations.

5. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients on IT matters.
• Work closely with leadership to align IT goals with the company’s overall strategy.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 7+ years of proven experience in IT leadership roles, managing diverse teams and projects.
• Strong knowledge and experience with blockchain technologies.
• Hands-on expertise in IT infrastructure, development frameworks, and system administration.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with teams and clients.
