Key Responsibilities
- The Network Operations Engineer Advanced L2 plays a key role in maintaining the stability security and performance of the global enterprise network infrastructure
- Monitor support and maintain the global enterprise network infrastructure including WAN LAN WLAN RVPN Internet and Cloud connectivity
- Respond to network incidents outages and performance issues ensuring quick recovery and minimal impact on business operations while proactively notifying customers and communicating business impact
- Perform detailed root cause analysis and drive longterm corrective actions in collaboration with network engineering and vendor teams
- Execute change management activities with proper planning risk assessment and validation including configuration maintenance and software upgrades routers switches firewalls wireless controllers load balancers WAN accelerators in coordination with site IT teams for predictable results
- Maintain and update network documentation topology diagrams and operational procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Analyze and optimize network performance using tools such as SevOne Grafana SolarWinds or NetMRI identifying areas for improvement and capacity planning
- Coordinate with service providers and vendors to track and resolve connectivity and performance issues ensuring SLA compliance
- Support and validate new deployments projects and technology integrations in collaboration with Network Engineering Security and Infrastructure teams
- Contribute to the development and improvement of network monitoring and automation processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability
