We are hiring AI Product Owners to join a leading financial services institution in Abu Dhabi. This position sits within their internal AI Lab, a specialist function tasked with designing and delivering AI-driven products that reshape how the organisation leverages data, insight, and intelligent automation.

You will work at the intersection of data science, engineering, and business strategy, transforming AI concepts into scalable enterprise products used across the business. The role requires deep involvement in the full product lifecycle and a strong understanding of the AI and machine learning landscape.

As an AI Product Owner, you will translate business needs into tangible AI solutions, managing the delivery of end-to-end AI products. You will be responsible for owning the product backlog, aligning technical and business teams, and ensuring that product features deliver clear value to the business. Creating concepts for AI powered tools and products that drive a variety of operational and business metrics.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about product ownership and looking to work hands-on with AI innovation inside a complex, enterprise-scale environment.

While the role is working in the Financial Services sector, the products being shipped are not exclusively financial.

• Define and manage the AI product backlog in line with business goals and use case priorities
• Translate business problems into structured AI product requirements
• Prioritise features based on business impact, technical feasibility, and user needs
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and domain experts
• Ensure clear and consistent communication across teams to drive alignment and delivery
• Monitor KPIs and user feedback to refine AI products and guide future iterations
• Track delivery to ensure product features create real business value
• Support change management and adoption initiatives

Discover the requirements

• 5 - 12 years of experience in product ownership or digital product delivery
• Strong exposure to AI product lifecycles or working alongside AI/ML teams
• Experience writing user stories, managing backlogs, and leading cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and business audiences
• Familiarity with risk, governance, or regulatory environments within financial services is beneficial
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering
