What you will do

Management of organizational taxonomy tools for engineering:

• management of internally hosted Service Catalog (Cortex) and some other internal services
• creating and supporting automations on top of it for scaffolding a new service, updating services based on some rules (we have partly automation for it)
• managing Slackbots that run such automations based on events
• integrations with different internal and external tools (teams management systems, governance tools, and others)

What you need for this

• 5+ years of experience developing backend services in production,
• strong proficiency in at least one backend language,
• hands-on experience designing and implementing APIs,
• solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals (caching, load balancing, data modeling, eventual consistency, message queues),
• a good understanding of build processes and software delivery lifecycle, and CI/CD in general
• Nice to have: service inventory management experience, infrastructure management familiarity.
• Desirable skills: preferred background in backend development or infrastructure, k8s, platform experience.
