Network Engineer

About the job

This client is looking to reenforce their network security team, particularly in Checkpoint expertise! You will play a fundamental role in supporting business goals as well as strengthening the current teams understanding checkpoint and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, and datacenter-to-cloud networks
• Deploy and manage Check Point firewalls and Cisco network devices
• Support routing, switching, and wireless infrastructure
• Participate in network projects and automation (Python/Ansible)
• Monitor network health and resolve incidents

Experience & Skills

• Proven Network Engineer experience in IT and/or OT environments
• Highly skilled with Check Point firewalls (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, and network security
• Cisco environment experience
• Fluent in English (mandatory) + French or Dutch

Additional Details

• Start date: ASAP
• Duration: Long-term freelance
• Onsite: Strictly 3 days/week, Brussels
• Rate: €600 - €750 range
