IAM Engineer

Location: Europe (remote)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

What You'll Be Doing

An Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant specializes in designing, implementing, and managing IAM solutions to ensure secure access to systems, applications, and data within our client organization. The role is critical in maintaining cybersecurity, compliance, and operational efficiency. IAM is a strategic important service for our client to help their customers prevent breaches. Our client's IAM mainly works with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

How You'll Spend Your Day

Configure and maintain IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Entra ID).
Develop and implement RoleBased Access Control (RBAC) models.
Integrate IAM solutions with cloud services and enterprise applications.
Perform system monitoring and troubleshoot IAM-related incidents.
Automate IAM processes using scripts or workflows.
Document technical configurations and system architecture.
Contribute to presales activities with scoping and reply to RfP/RfI.
Contribute to service description and development.

You'll be successful if you have

2–5 years of experience in IAM, system administration, or cybersecurity engineering.
Hands-on experience with IAM tools like Okta, SailPoint, ForgeRock, or Entra ID Governance.
Experience integrating systems and automating IAM workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Familiarity with authentication protocols (e.g., SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or similar (preferred).
Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for IAM automation.
