Join our team as a SQL Specialist supporting ad‑hoc data extraction and reporting needs across multiple data domains. You’ll work with diverse Data Warehouse tables, writing and optimizing SQL scripts—sometimes adapting existing ones, other times building queries from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle ad‑hoc data requests for banking data domains from various stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries across multiple databases.
• Extract, clean, and verify the data accuracy before delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and clarify requirements.
• Document queries, data sources, and logic for transparency and reusability.
• Improve query performance and recommend enhancements to data structures or processes.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity and compliance with internal governance and security standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance tuning.
• Previous experience in banking, financial services or regulatory reporting.
• Experience working with relational databases and data warehouses.
• Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts and data quality best practices.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, especially when explaining technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
