System Engineer - Driver Information

The role

In this role, you will join the Driver & Vehicle Information department at our client, contributing to key initiatives within the Connected Experience Unit. This unit is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge infotainment systems built on Android and Google Automotive Services, driving continuous innovation to secure and strengthen our leadership position in the industry.

In your role as System Engineer at Driver Information and the instrument cluster, you are a member of a tight development team which is responsible to deliver the whole software package of the instrument cluster incl. functionality.

Responsibilities

• As a System Engineer your main objective is to design and specify software requirements for in-house development teams.
• You develop interfaces and define signals within driver information system, ensuring seamless integration with existing and future vehicle models.

Background / Experience

• For this position experience from system design in automotive is required.
• ADAS experience
• Canoe competence
• Matlab (Simulink/stateflow)
• Experience of joining late in projects and be able to deliver
• Elektra requirement tool
• Experience in writing test reports/DVM
• Valid European driver’s license B
