Role Overview

Open Innovation AI is seeking a dedicated and skilled Product-oriented Technical Project Manager with a focus on customer driven projects delivery to lead the development of our AI customer-driven Use cases platforms. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional customer facing project management skills, and experience working with technical audiences such as developers, data scientists, and IT professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define Product strategy and roadmaps, aligning with the vision and strategic goals, and driving the execution with key progress updates to executive leadership, customers, and key stakeholders
• Lead and manage product-oriented technical projects in a scrum agile configuration, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of project modules and products features
• Manage customer engagement and expectations maintaining clarity on projects objectives, scope and requirements vision, and AI/ML platforms deliverables
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
• Identify, assess and manage risks and issues that may impact the project, overseeing the full project lifecycle, from initiation to final customer delivery and support
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and quality standards
• Coordinate with AI technical teams, specialists, and data scientists for technical guidance, solution implementation, and reviewing AI model’s technical design and validating their functioning
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth communication, issues resolutions, change management requests, and efficient project delivery
• Define and prioritize products features, manage, and maintain the project backlog, translating strategic projects goals into actionable tasks
• Ensure project milestones are met on time within the defined scope, quality, time and cost constraints, addressing continuously any bottlenecks
• Organize and facilitate training for users of the implemented AI solution
• Conduct post-project evaluation with the customer and internal teams to assess the success of the project and identify areas for continuous improvement
• Manage and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools for optimal team performance.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related fields.
• Proven experience in technical project management supporting AI/ML products or platforms, covering model development, data pipelines
• Strong understanding of the technical aspects of platform development and project execution.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, and familiarity with product lifecycle management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, flexibility, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions to guide project and product outcomes.
• Familiarity with AI and ML concepts, as well as the broader technological landscape.
• Certification in project management (e.g., SCRUM, PRINCE2, PMP) is a plus
